Characteristics: Fruitbodies in morphology are very similar to the commonly cultivated oyster mushrooms: hemispheric white-grayish-brown caps with eccentrically positioned stem of fibrous-woody consistency. Gills are white and decurrent on stem. This is a very popular commercial strain. This is the easiest of all oysters to grow, and is the top choice for beginners, kits or classroom work, since it always fruits.

 Large fruitbodies, with later flushes yielding progressively larger fruitbodies

Temperature Range : Low: 55-65 °F (10-18 °C) fruiting temperature.

Recommended Substrate : Straw / Hardwood sawdust/chips  supplemented with bran.
